If it is anything like data roaming charges on other networks it will be
about £3 per megabyte. The most obvious solution would be to try and pick up
a free wireless connection in a hotel and use that to download.

Just about to head off on cricket holidays.
Anyone on here got an IPhone they have used abroad.
I know to turn off data roaming to avoid huge charges but anyone know how
much it would cost to, for example - turn it on for ten minutes a day to
pick up and send email etc
