Take this from a one off armchair view from the States while watching the match at work....
But I thought Parker (0) and Johnson (1) were attrocious and can't believe that they're both professional footballers. Beckford (3) and Delph (4), well, I'll assume this game was a one off for both of them because they were both very poor also. Beckford looked like he hardly gave a toss and at times I didn't know if Delph knew we weren't playing in PINK. Casper (1)...how bad must our other keepers be? Near post tight angle between the legs...youth football quality. Not good enough to keep goal between two jumpers. Naylor (9), Marques (9), Snoddy (8), Kilkenny (8) all looked very solid. The center two doing very well. I never really thought Oldham would score. Douglas (6) and Beechio (7)...looked very good compared to what I expected from all of Rich's whinning. I thought Beechio lead the line with great energy, strenght and at times skill. Clearly he is limited but considering our division he looked very good. Replace Parker with anyone at least capable and swap Johnson for a winger and we'd be set. Our game screamed out for someone to outpace their fullbacks either with a wide man or an overlapping fullback of which Douglas and Parker can't play that role. We were too narrow.
