Agreed, it's the transferable skills/ achievements you need to highlight. Don't bother describing job/ company just what you achieved and skills it built
e.g. major in Israeli army shouldn't be seen as negative, it should be something like leadership under pressure, strategic planning, led 200 men to <insert own achievement> local councillor = civic responsibility, high level decision making etc... -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Richard Naef Sent: 09 March 2009 16:25 To: 'LUList' Subject: Re: [LU] Serious question. Sweet F All To Do With LUFC my opinion is that the CV is only a gateway thing, to get you an interview, so it's the interview and what u say then that is important. Assuming your not going for a staff job at Hamas, I think you should state the facts and only give detail where your previous experience is relevant to the new position. Don't bother doing more than 1 x A4. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dr > Michael Benjamin > Sent: 09 March 2009 16:15 > To: LUList > Subject: [LU] Serious question.
