Had a nice afternoon of nostalgia watching us beat Oldham 6 0 in 84-5 season
and Pompey away the following season.
Considering we were playing in a higher division than we are now some of the
football is terrible !
The higlights are 30mins each (mainly second half in both cases for some reason)
The quality is not great and there is no commentary so it is hard to recognise
\ recall some of the players - likes of Shez, Aspin etc ar easy enough - pretty
sure it is Rich Ws favourite - Ronnie Robinson at left back v Pompey !!
LUTV is free at present so I reckon it is worth watching just for those two
games which pre date any of the official videos etc
As for Liam Dickinson he is supposed to have a bit of pace and his goal scoring
for teams in this Division is pretty decent - he has got to be better than
Trundle has been for us
Lets hope we can equal the home wins record tomorrow
Dave
