Anyone else think that tomorrows game has got "banana skin" written all over it
?
We have won 8 on the bounce and are aiming for our best run since 1989 /90
(when it WAS fortress Elland Road with the atmosphere we created that season)
and they are in a run of only one win in the last 9 games and have not even
scored for weeks (six and  half hours and back to March 10th for their last
goal)

I can remember going to Maine Road in the Championship winning season and city
had not scored for three or four games and had struggled in front of goal all
season and they put 4 past us (then repeated the feat the following year !)

There have been lots of other times when we have played someone who had not won
for ages and broken that record for them (Barnsley in promotion year, anyone ?
Us unbeaten at home , then not having won away )

Also whilst I rate Sodje I do wonder if bringing him in is a good move or not.
If he stays fit then great but he was missing on Tuesday and is doubtful for
tomorrow - we all know that Rui is a 'confidence player' and being dropped for
Sodje and then only playing when Sodje is injured cannot be good for his
confidence.

Also what is the point in Flahavan ? We have brought him in on loan but he is
not yet fit to play - so whilst Casper may deserve dropping after his blunder
on Tuesday night which cost us 2 points we do not have Flahavan to replace him
- surely there was a keeper out there who could have been brought it ready to
replace Casper when needed ?

Despite my concerns in these last 2 paragraphs I still believe in Grayson and
think he is doing a good job and we and him will only get better in the long
run.

Of course tomorrow may prove me wrong and we may canter to a victory with
Dickinson coming back to haunt his old club with a hat-trick (here's hoping)

Dave
