and assorted others chipped in as well. well, contrary to any rumours and whatever folk may have thought, I am still around. Just that some six months banged up, first in hospital and then in the rehabilitation centre, was anything but conducive to posting. I finally got out just before christmas but am still on crutches and busy with physiotherapy and further treatment (and after being back at the hospital yesterday for check ups looks like I will be back in sometime for further ops) which all takes up a lot of time and with it being slow doing anything just the day-to-day doing things to exist means time over is minimal and feeling worn out i don't get round to posting. Still at least there where internet facilities in hospital and in rehab so I was able to keep up with list so feel i can confidently say that any suggestions of the death the list are misplaced. During the past months of following it passively there have been quiet periods but also times the list has been so busy, in the number of postings at least, i had difficulty in keeping up with them. The perversity of it is that the number of mails go up the more inconsequential the topic is or the worse the gods are doing. Good times and the number of postings drop, hence on the back of - to quote Rich - "... a historical 10 match winning home streak heading towards the Championship and nobody seems to care" it's not so much caring but rather nothing to say when we do well. maybe it's part of the yorkshire trait of always seeing the downside of things and being gloomy that we just don't know what to say when things go well. Now, without trying to pre-empt or but the knockers on things, presuming we do get the play-off final not having been to any game this season I shall go for the ultimate glory-hunter spot and hope to be there. I finally got my membership card, ordered the season before to guarantee me then the ticket for the play-off final, delivered late october, well into this seasons matches (not that it made any difference in my condition). Does this guarantee me a ticket for the (possible) wembley appearance or does one have to further fork out for the current membership extra time offer? A further question hopefully someone can help with. What's the facilities for disabled at Wembley and do I qualify? True, I am no longer in a wheelchair but I am stuck on crutches. Does that count? If so anyone know anything about facilities and how I can get a ticket? Do I have to provide proof of being a cripple? BTW thanks to those people kept contact with me during my period of incarceration, calling me, sending me cards or mailing me. It all helped in cheering me up and keeping me (more or less) sane so thanks again. cheers, guy _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
