Leeds United dismiss Delph to Everton link
Published Date: 10 June 2009
LEEDS UNITED say they have received no offers for hot prospect Fabian
Delph, despite reported interest from Premier League side Everton.
It was reported this morning that the England Under 21 starlet is set to
join the Goodison Park club for £4m.
However, Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey today dismissed the mounting
speculation.
"Despite the speculation there has been no offers for Fab since the end
of the season," said Harvey.
"At this stage of the year speculation is always rife although it is
never helpful."
Delph, 19, is one year into a four-year deal at Elland Road.
The Bradford-born midfielder has made 51 appearances for Leeds and made
his England Under-21 debut at Bramall Lane in November.
