After a quick look through the scores from last night, it looks like we were joined only by Port Vale in seeing off opposition from a higher division. In fact, Vale probably should be getting greater applause as Sheff Wed are 2 divisions ahead of them. Neither of these results / matches were referred to on 5 live as anything more than a run of the mill Carling Cup result. Had it been the FA Cup then we'd be the slayers from the lower leagues. Perhaps matters at Upton Park were more of a talking point! Main thing is that it keeps us on a winning run apart from the round 3 of the Carling Cup! Have we forgotten how to lose??
