Think we can relax now - to count deals must be registered by 5pm (we fell foul
last time and tried to blame the bad weather) so whilst a few minor deals may
yet need to be announced I am 100% sure Beckford will not be one of them. Of
course once the window shuts the loan market opens but that tends to move on
players who are not getting a game (anyone for Kandol ??)
I see the scouse game is Cat B - not bad, should bring in a lot of revenue on
gate receipts without giving the "price whingers" too much to moan about (even
I have to pay for this one !! my 20 yrs only covers League games )
