Hi, The Archives page seems to be down, or at least there is nothing on it for the last 2 days. So all this has probably been said already.
Overall I'm fairly happy with the conclusion. The most important thing was to keep Beckford, as I could not see where the goals for promotion would have come from without him. Bromby will be valuable cover a right & centre back, especially this weekend, with Naylor out and Kisnorbo and Rui away on international duty. Is Kilkenny away too? Bromby may even make one of those positions his own. Sheehan going on loan (again) leaves the squad a bit short of cover at left back, but Grayson obviously doesn't rate him, as he's playing Hughes there, out of position, while Parker is injured. White and Johnson can also play there, so I suppose there is cover. Not sure what impact Somma will have, judging by his record. I would have preferred us to have signed a speedy Right Winger, as that is one area we are short of. Snodgrass could have then been regarded as an 'occasional' striker, where he has had some success when put there. Overall, not too displeased. It is all going quite well at the moment, but it is very early days yet. My personal hope was for 13 points from every 6 games to comfortably stroll to promotion, so it is a good start. I'm a little bit worried about this weekend, with a 2nd choice defence, but hopefully the rest of the team will be too good for Stockport.
