Richard I agree with most of what u said but from where I was Lubo was a lumbering dinosaur, constantly arms in the back of their forward who i thought if he was less selfish coulda made a few problems, he missed so many headers and was so much taller than their boy too, sorry but i don't rate him at all.
Doyle was sliding all over the pitch and had to be taken off, i thought it was the right decision to bring him off, I like his aggression but he made several sliding tackles that could have been much worse and his yellow card was elbow first into their number 3, if it had been red i would not have disagreed. Bechio I thought worked hard, bit like Kuyt for me, works hard but won't score many goals, Grella played well too but needs more 1st team appearances to learn to link up with Bechio's nods. We switched off in 2nd half and let them play, their number 5 looked very useful I thought, we needed a controlling midfielder, Howson was again excellent today I thought. too many missed passes though in middle field. Been a great trip to UK again 2 games 2 wins, we will face sterner opposition this season, next month will be telling with Charlton, MK Dons etc to come, fingers crossed and while I'm back in Oman keep up the reports guys, it helps all us expats enormously. P.S. category A game my arse, but 31 quid on holiday mustn't grumble.. when did the Old Peacock stop selling Tetley Bitter, bloody disgrace....
