Looking at Wiki if SG continues as he has done till now we should get 92-3 points this year. All his time at Blackpool he was around 60 per season. All in all quite impressive as he had to do that with no money. What I liked about the L'Pool game was the team play. Man for man we wre much worse but as a team much better. I also like his general attitude. Strong competition for each position on the pitch. Make the defence as water tight as possible. Grind out results. Keep faith with a winning team. I reckon that we have the makings of a good 2nd division team already. We can build on & around Snodgrass, Beckford, Howson, Kisnorbo, Higgs, & Bechio [ I really like the lad & out and out grafter] probably add to that Kilkenny, Naylor Bromby & Parker. Hopefully Grella & White will come along too. The rest are too old or not good enough [I still have Johnson down as a flash in the pan --- hope that I am wrong] So on going up [tempting fate] we will need a good 5- 8 players which is do able but means another year in the 2nd division. Put another way this team can go up and will but will need freshening up. The ideal situation would be to buy at Xmas -- but I cannot see our Ken doing that. Off to work. Pity :(( Michael
