Don't know if this has hit the local rags in England yet. This taken
from a Vancouver daily, The Province. In case you didn't know,
Vancouver is joining the MLS for season 2011.

An impressive first MLS hire for the Vancouver Whitecaps today as the
club announced that Tottenham Hotspur executive director Paul Barber
will serve as the Caps' CEO effective March 1, 2010. (Spurs, it must be
said simply for the sake of adding pain to Paul Chapman's day, are
currently sitting in the top four of the English Premier League, while
Liverpool are not).
Barber, 42, joined Spurs' board of directors in 2005 and reports to
executive chairman Daniel Levy. He's in change of several areas, from
ticketing and tours to coaching development and camps. Between now and
March, he is heading up new shirt sponsor and stadium naming rights
discussions for Spurs, as well as supporting England's 2017/2022 World
Cup bid.
