A former director of Leeds United has appeared in court charged with conspiracy to blackmail. Simon Morris, 32, a former high-profile property developer, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court earlier. His case was adjourned after his co-accused Mark Ashworth, 49, from Cheshire, failed to attend due to health reasons.
