Does anyone know how long Beckford has had Nick Rubery as his agent? A lot of those deals are two years...which might suggest Rubery's deal is coming to an end this summer. It may be a bit of speculation -- no, it IS a bit of speculation -- but that might explain a reason for the curious timing of Rubery's leak of the transfer request AFTER the Scum game and after the Barcode offers were turned down. It had a mark of desperation and this might explain why....
