We're probably due an injury or sending-off or two and if that happened to,
say, Kisnorbo, Beckford or Snod on Saturday we'd really regret having played
them. I doubt Grayson will field a second team as such, but surely it's not
worth risking the key four or five. I'm sure they'd understand in the context
of our priorities, and those players have had the Man U game so we'd not be
depriving them of a life experience.

He's already on record as saying he'll play his strongest team when he can.

Here lads...I don't have any faith in you being able to play in a main stage
cup tie so to boost your confidence on the heals of a run of bad results I'm
going to drop you all and play a bunch of kids and the blokes that clean your
boots. Get rested for an exciting trip to play at Swindon next week.
What...yes, I'm sure there's nothing to be gained by experiencing the thrill of
playing at White Hart Lane. What...playing at the County Ground doesn't
motivate you?

If he plays the reserves he's basically telling the entire first team that they
aren't good enough and he's lost faith in them.
Good player management!!!
Please explain how "resting" the first team inspires them to succeed?
Cheers
