Subject: Re: [LU] Snoddy's ne position

How long did it take snoddy to beat the first man at a corner?

4 or 5 goes?

He does my head in does Snodgrass, far more than Beckford ever does. There
is no denying his talent and by and large he had an excellent game on
Saturday but he does some of the daftest things at times, careless passes
when in good positions, dribbling when he should pass, passing when he
should shoot, crap crosses, particularly from dead ball situations, all
terrible in a player of such obvious ability.
Having said that I'd rather have him in the team than out and I thought the
ploy of playing him "in the hole" behind Beckford worked brilliantly after
the first 20 minutes and I'd like to see some of our First Division rivals
try and cope with that in the future. The Spurs defenders didn't know how to
deal with it so I can't see them coping too well.
