I would love to do that but Mailman as it is presented to me by Zetnet is er, running for free and I don't want to disturb them :-) In the interim if all the ignorant farckwits (you jknow who you are) who do abuse the list by quoting reams and reams of text just to get their name in lights could trim their posts it wouldn't need a script.
I don't really want to discourage folks from posting but DRB is correct - blatant ignorance is making a real mess of the digest, a digest which is vital to some listers because of work limitations etc..
Next person who fucks up on this gets a visit from the thought police................
