I was talking to a mate in the school playground this morning and he was
telling me that a friend of his (who plays for worcester city) was due to go
out on loan last year. The deal fell through at the last minute, the
stumbling block, the chairman (from the other team) refused to pay the
additional £12.50 in expenses per week that it would cost the lad in fuel to
attend training, etc.
We think that we have it bad in League One.
