No need to panic but surely a simple prioritisation exercise needs to take place.
1. League 2. FA Cup 3. Reserve Games 4. JPT and the team picked accordingly. ----- Original Message ---- From: DAVID NATTAN <[email protected]> To: list leedslist <[email protected]> Sent: Wed, 27 January, 2010 11:07:25 Subject: [LU] Panic or not ?? I am with the much too early to panic brigade - 4 points from the 2 games in hand and we are back top of the league ! In addition we only need to come second to get promotion and really only Charlton have any chance of beating us to that spot - a position I am sure 100% of us would have accepted at this stage before a ball was kicked this season. Also we all talk and seem to agree that the League is more important than the Cup - but our words are NOT backed up by our actions - for Spurs (even though on TV) we have had to open the East Stand and tickets have been flying out - it took me five attempts to log in to get my own ST seat sorted such has been the demand for the Spurs game, but for the "much more important" game v Colchester, on a Saturday and not televised we are struggling to sell tickets and may well not break the 20k barrier for the game. So is it any wonder the players may also get a bit distracted. I am totally confident that SG will sort it out and we will comfortably be promoted (don't forget Charlton lost at home on Tuesday so we have lost no ground on them) As my Leeds T shirt says "keep the faith" Dave _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
