Hope they do better against Brentford for when I come over!

Although only been two years not 27....

Well this was my first time back in Leeds and my first game for 27 years and
I was so disappointed. I will be heading back to Oz with no regrets about
missing the next couple of games, and if you guys have to sit through this
standard of football each week you have my upmost sympathy. My hometown
Perth Glory would of given this Leeds team a lesson in passing and
possession.
All you who were booing, Shut the F*** up, yes we can all be critical of
our team but when the team are on the pitch get behind the lads. Why
Beckford is the main target I don't know, he put in more effort than most of
the others.
So many balls kicked out of play, so many misplaced passes, so little
harassing, no fluidity, no midfield, no attack, no defense.
The singing of songs extolling the great team of the 60/70s was great for
oldfarts like me but its sad to be praising the team of 40 odd years ago and
ignoring and booing the team of today.
High point was their goalies warm up at the beginning of 2nd half, and
being able to stand throughout the game.
I might not get to Elland Road again, and this would be a bad game to
remember as my last live one. But no matter what I will always support my
Leeds.
Cheers Nigel
