Probably a fair result at the end of the day. They were the better
side on the first half when our midfield struggled to make any
impression, Howson and McSheffery being particularly inefective. We
were better in the second half and equalised with a quality goal.
Howson created space for himself and released Snodgrass on the right.
Snodgrass beat his fullback by the corner flag, put in a great cross
and Howson arrived in space to head home. We kept the pressure on and
went in front from a Snodgrass corner, flicked on by McSheffery for
Becchio to bundle home. As expected we came under terrific pressure
and were unable to hold out but most were agreed it was a point gained
rather than lost. I think we've turned the corner. Report by Terry,
