I can assure you that I'd swap the Bernabeu ANY DAY of the week for a game at Elland Road.
Whilst it really is nice to see Kaká, CR9 et al, when you're there at the Bernabeu there is almost zero atmosphere, they start whinging if they are not leading by half time, will readily boo their own players and view it as truly like going to the opera or watching the Harlem Globetrotters. The so called "tough" Ultras in the southern end of the stadium are the only ones to make ANY noise whatsoever, and even they give up most of the time. Then again, I can't complain too much about the atmosphere as half the times recently I've been there it's because of a corporate ticket...
