Result aside, I quite enjoyed this in that we had loads of possession,
rarely had our goal threatened and we created a lot of chances. We
should have won this easily, Beckford being the main culprit, missing
a hatful of chances before McSheffrey (who had a good game, probably
his best in a Leeds shirt) presented him with an umissable tap in from
3 yards (yes, I do mean Beckford and not Becchio).
Snodgrass should have at least had a shot when put through one on one
by Beckford, Lubo hit the post in the last minute (maybe Beckford
should have followed it in to make sure) and their keeper made 3 or 4
great saves.
I wasn't impressed with Dikov's 10minute cameo.
The turning point was probably Hughes going off injured, Bromby had
looked ok at centreback, but not so good at rightback. Aidy White had
a good game (especially going forward, less convincing defensively)
until taken off (I assume to save his legs).
Definitely 2 points dropped, but we did enough to win this
comfortably. Promotion is still in our own hands. Believe.
