Someone wisely said yesterday that things could be worse, of course
they could, things could be much worse. Obviously now is crunch time.
We have played 34 games and got 68 points, that's 2 points per game
but we have played two games more at home than away, so in keeping with
the win at home, draw away strategy, we should have two more points but that's
not bad considering our recent slump. Seven of the remaining twelve games are
away
from home, obviously. At best, if we can pick up and go along with these
figures we may
get another 26 points making 90 for the season. I think we will achieve this
comfortably
and be promoted. In fact the more games away could be in our favour, I feel
sure we will
get more than seven points from these seven away games. Interesting eh!

We were the first team in the Football League to get fifty points, that was
back
on the 19th December, by the 28th December we had fifty-six points after twenty
three games. We have played the last eleven games for just twelve points.

23 games for 56 points was 2.43 points per game
11 games for 12 points was 1.09 points per game
34 games for 68 points is 2 points per game

Norwich current totals are: 35 games from 75 points at 2.14 points per game
Charlton current totals are: 35 games for 66 points at 1.88 points per game
Colchester current totals are: 33 games for 62 points at 1.87 points per game

What does all this tell us, some old git has fuck-all better to do and that's
true.
