Don't even allow yourself the hope that we'll go up via the playoffs. The
playoffs are a knock-out competition, and we never, ever win knock-out
competitions. (I started supporting in 1973, and we haven't won a single one
since then.) Anyway, on current form there is no way we will make the
playoffs. Even if we do, the only benefit would be the financial benefit of
having
a reasonable crowd for the home playoff tie. Otherwise, it'll just be more
embarrassment. I have assumed since late January that we weren't going to
get promoted. We might as well start planning for next season now. How much
do we have to offer Paul Lambert to manage us?

Cheers!

We'll be 4th now, equal points with Charlton in 5th. 2 Points behind
Swindon, 1 behind millwall.

Millwall now have a +2 better goal difference than us too.

Talk about a team in freefall, I certainly have never known anything like
it
with Leeds - the closest feeling to this was our relegation from the
championship where you ended up not being surprised when teams scored or
when we lost games.. but this is fucking ridiculous. 4 losses on the trot,
7 goals conceded (so far), none scored, and importantly 2 of those games
were "must win" games at home, and in those 2 we have lost 0-2 and 0-3.

Our form in must win games doesn't exactly inspire confidence for the
playoffs does it! Especially as one of the teams will be either millwall
or
Swindon.
