I have to disagree with you in that I thought Yeovil seemed to be at a level
that gave us a game (that we could win) Yes, we did have the lion's share of
possession and chances, but they had some good possesion and chances also.
I am no Yeovil fan but saying that they were rubbish makes us little better
than rubbish as we hardly steam rollered them. Although the win is great,
it's dis-heatening that we have to play such a lowly team to get that feel
good factor and let's face it, we were hanging on a bit at the end! I
suppose after Norwich, Milwall, Swindon and Southampton, we were due an
easier opposition. Beckford is a worry - he's gone right off the boil just
when we need him - great that Naylor came up with the goals though.
Thankfully most of our games now are against lower postioned teams which
just might see us through albeit not with the guile and class that Swansea
did it a couple of seasons ago. I always hoped we'd do it like that (and
look at them now in Chumpionship play off places)
We'll take anything to go up - well almost - we wouldn't want to be doing a
Peterborogh!!

Not often I get to see a game, so here goes
We were 70% brilliant, and they were PISH. Absolute garbage - wouldn't even
be
competitive in the Australian A-League
Then we found a self-destruct button - WTF happened? It was like a switch
being
thrown!!

Higgs 6 If hes head n shoulders above Casper, god help Casper. he was fine

did flap a bit
Hughes 7 Quiet day and they never really attacked down his side
Naylor 8 very good - with goals as a bonus. Got nutmegged for their goal but
otherwise strong
Collins 6 the epitomy of averageness. Did owt well and a few tthings v
poorly.
Whatever happened to Rui ? or Lubo? or a slow moving tree?
Bromby 7 Great running to 1/2 way line then stops!! Is incapable of passing
except to a man wide open and unmarked. Can take throw ins
Snodgrass 9 between him and MoTM lifted us up when flat as pancakes. Wont be
here next year
Howson 6 Did what was expected but no "cutting edge" We controlled the
midfield
all game, but he never stepped up to dominate
Kilkenny 7 Was better than Howson and Doyle and can pass a football. One
sublime diagonal 50m pass shows what he can do. Needs to do it more often
tho
Doyle 5 What a waste of space. 1st touch of a serial rapist
Beckford 5 He had a shot on goal from distance in 1st half, then what?
Gradel 10 Seriously the only 10 Ive seen in a Leeds side in years. He made
the
odd mistake (that free kick) but if Doyle, Collins, Bromby, Howson and
Beckford
had shown just 2% of his get-up-n-go, we would be Prem league by now
When we play well we are awesomme
When we play average we are better than most sides playing at their best
But dear o dear, how easily we slip into shitfootball - and I can not
understand that
Subs: Should have been made at 70 min mark. Beckford off (Yes) and either
Doyle
or Howson instead of Kilkenny. Thought SG did OK up to that point. Was
pleased
actually he looked will pissed-off at final whistle. I mean, ffs, they are
15th
in this division!!!
