Just watched the highlights on LUTV of our 4 2 win over Rotherham and Sanchez
Watt looked very good. He played a lovely ball through for Baxendale to run
through and score, then a dribble and parried shot from him let the ball come
to Hatfield to score,Then it was his run that was illegally stopped to let Lubo
crash a freekick along the floor and into the net,and finally it was his run
and cross that set up Parker for the 4th. So add to that a couple of decent
corners and a run and shot and the lad deserves a place on the bench on
Saturday.
It did seem strange to me that neither Grella nor Dickov took part in the game
- surely the one thing they both need, if they are to help out the first team,
is time on the pitch (and maybe a few goals) to build up their match fitness
and confidence.
