Just watched reserves highlights on LUTV - easy 3 0 win v bottom of the table
Bradford. Good goal from Grella after nice through ball by Watt, then lovely
long range shot from McSheffrey, who then got the 3rd with a nice lob over the
keeper.
What did puzzle me a bit was the team line-up especailly no Parker who needs
more match time if he is to be OK for coming on as sub for the first team, and
even more so - why did he not give Beckford a go ? OK Gradel and Becchio will
start on Saturday and quite rightly, but Beckford has surely got a part to play
(according to Grayson) so to me, it would have been a good idea to let him play
in the reserves and maybe get a couple of goals and get his confidence up ?
