Easy enough Graham. If (and that is if) we go into the final game on equal points with millwall then we will definitely have a worse goal difference than them going into that final game.

The league table that I have which is correct has Leeds one point ahead of Millwall and level on goal difference, so our destiny is completely in our own hands.
Have you mis-read the league table?

You also write:
we'll need to lose ground on GD and since we're
neck and neck now, that means losing out

I don't understand this either, will you be good enough to please explain?

Simple - but we love the complexities.

Conceding yesterday (or not scoring more) was a blow - for us to end on equal points with Millwall, we'll need to lose ground on GD and since we're

Charlton only have a mathematical chance of automatic promotion and go into Saturday's game expecting the season to last an extra three games. Will that mean they take it easy - especially since a win for us could thwart East
London rivals Millwall?

Swindon also look out of it - which means they go into the final game
expecting the season to last an extra three games. Will that mean Millwall
benefit?

Whatever - a win for us at Charlton and Millwall bottling it at Tranmere means we're up. Knowing us, we'll still be biting our nails at 4.55pm on the
final day.
