Seems to political debates are a pretty crap beauty contest , one person not
really relecting the true in depth policies ,and the need to try point score
against each other, mind you only seen highlights on TV ,but listened on radio
headphones .An example of a hung parliament is Leeds City Council ,
total council seats 99 , Labour 44 Liberal Democrat 23Conservative 23
Morley Borough Independents -5 Green Party 3 British National Party , The
council been run for last 5 years on a Con /Lib dem alliance to keep Labour out
of power who have 44 seats to the combined Con/Lib dem 46 seats, they
alternate leader status every 6 months ,means if you vote Lib /Dem you are
really propping up the Conservatives in Leeds. Anyway will be interesting to
see what happens in local elections which are on same day as the general .
Also noticed the Council have done a deal on buying Farsley Celtic ground ,(in
the Leader of Councils Ward) and a bit of flac re this taking place when old
folks homes are to be closed, and protracted Bin Strike etc. Anyway back to
foota hope all goes well next two games , sods law its a draw today, so we go
to final day cliff hanger.think we are alll putting play offs at back on mind,
plus why did Ken did not open elland ground to public for Chalton TV
showing.
