nearly right, this is the fourth time in the last 50 years but we might as
well take
the records back to 1954 when professional football was introduced. The first
two
  seasons, 54/55 & 55/56, the champion was determined by a mini-league/play-off
between the winners of the different leagues. It was only in 1956 a proper
league,
the Eredivisie, was introduced. The first season, 56/57 Ajax where the
champions.

the big three apart the only champions have been:
  57/58 DOS
  58/59 Sparta
  63/64 DWS
  80/81 AZ '67
  08/09 AZ
  09/10 FC Twente

Ajax have been champions 21 times, PSV 18x and Feyenoord 9x
