Am I one of the few who was underwhelmed with the Damned United both as a book and a film?
Sheen was fantastic of course, but the film is a massive distortion: the book was 2/3 about his time at Derby County and I found this part far more interesting than his 44 days at LUFC. Plus if you're going to do a book or story on Cloughie WHY would you leave out his time at Forest? Never mind the less than positive image presented of LUFC and players of the day and minimal emphasis on the point that - a pity for everyone - Cloughie simply got it wrong. > > Not sure if the almost sad tears of relief that suddenly sobbed forth on Sat > were thank god we're out of here, or whether they were that we had been so > close to another year of it.
