Apparently average % of wage to turnover in the Prem is 63% so they are
fairly close to the norm and as a free agent he will get a seven figure sum
signing on fee in place of a transfer fee Everton didn’t have to pay.

We simply cant compete with Everton and their £50m in TV money plus their
Premier League status, it’s a short career!

Subject: [LU] Wages

Hi
Just been checking a few facts.
Everton are in no great financial straits. They have a high wages to income
ratio. Over 62%.
The average wage of a PL player is is 13 K a week [wiki]
Just how much do you reckon our Jermaine is being offered by a canny Everton
manager to sit on his bench?
If it is over 10K I'll be amazed.

The crunch would be signing on fee, length of contract & bonuses.

I reckon that we can get close to Everton there.

The only factors not included are: personal standing in the team & agreement
to sell at certain price [ to our advantage] & the runt of a manager that
wants to say ' I got my boy fgrom non league to PL which will ruin it all.

Still not [ositive that he will go. Still not positive that it is for the
worst if he does. I am positive that it's a daft move for him. No need to
gamble when you don't have to.

Michael
