Back in the 80s, before all day opening, me and a mate used to walk back from the ground to a town center pub that opened before any of the others - I think it might have been the Whip, Tetley pub down an alleyway, rough as f**k. One of the last pubs in the world to allow women in!

When I came over for the Brentford game my mate and I stopped in a one room
pub in the city centre somewhere (don't know the name) that was the worst
pub I have ever been in my life. Full of old alcoholics and one very dodgy skinhead. Sorry don't know what street (New Market Street?), but was across
from a camera shop and a bus stop that had busses going to Elland Road.

Sam Smith's boozer - The General Elliott?

Bring back the Precinct, Star & Garter, Mucky Duck, Madhouse (Market
Tavern), Scotsman & The Whip!
