http://www.cultofmac.com/get-a-u-s-itunes-account-anywhere-in-the-world-how-to/43040 It's aimed at setting up a US store account from outside the US but it should work for the UK store too. You'll then need to get some UK store credit though as you won't be able to use a non-UK credit card. Gift cards are the best way to do this.* But then you could be stuck with a load of unwanted store credit as only one download per IP address counts towards the chart, apparently, so you'd have to use different PCs (on different connections) if you want to make multiple purchases. Or you could ask someone with an existing UK iTunes account to gift you the song to your newly-created UK iTunes account and that will count, according to: http://www.facebook.com/pages/080510-The-Day-Leeds-United-got-Promoted-with-just-10-men/115390108500891#!/group.php?gid=393661090206&ref=mf Needless to say, all of this breaks the T&Cs of the iTunes store if you're not resident in the UK. *if you can trust the seller: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/05/17/itunes_ebay_money_laundering_scam/ _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
