Sounds like a cliche, but the fact is that this is the collapse of the 
capitalist system which has been on the cards all along.

The whole shebang relied on creating demand for stuff which nobody really needs 
(or even wants, in most cases) and giving people endless credit so they could 
buy those things. It was totally unsustainable. Now all that personal debt is 
being slowly replaced by government debt. But ultimately, the billions of 
pounds which are whirling round and round in cyberspace will start to come 
down, and people will realise that none of it actually exists.

Apparently, there is still enough moolah out there for the US to give your 
brave boys (Dr. Mike, I'm talking to you) 2 billion dollars for a space-age 
missile system to shoot down the shoulder-launched rockets that come out of 
Gaza every now and then..........but it won't last.

Things are going to get a lot worse.
