Absolutely! If there were any waverers over club v country, then it's clear
that both players and supporters are now aligned. Feel sorry for anyone who
went, but hope it was a case of great holiday ruined by some inept football.
All talk of future seems to be revolving around age rather than ability. I
would like to see both Johnson and Terry dropped from future Ingerland teams.
Johnson cannot defend and looks as dumb as the proverbial, whilst Terry is just
a mutineer who could have made an already bad situation worse. Plus he's slower
than Tony Adams. It's alright having a crunching tackle and be willing to put
your head in the way of anything, but if you're 10 yards of the pace it's a
waste of time, unless Emile Heskey decides to change his nationality! Other
never agains - Lampard (ineffectual always), James (got away with the World
Cup, but can't be trusted), Heskey (no explanation needed).
Taking injured players - it's a risky strategy that has never worked for us -
think Keegan, Owen, Robson, now Rooney, King and especially Barry?
2018 - please, please do not give it to England!! No qualification group,
meaningless friendlies, claims of it's all come good when we get to the
competition after 3 1-1 draws with Ecuador, Luxembourg and Australia, followed
by the crushing realisation that even home advantage counts for nothing if you
can't pass a ball! Please, anywhere but England!
TIRED? Poor diddums. Tevez didn't look to tired when he whalloped that goal
against Mexico. Strange eh?
