Plenty of time yet
When we began last season we only had 3 new players (Higgs, Crowe and Kisnorbo)
and we have 4 new ones already this time.
OK we have lost Beckford and have moved up a Division so we do need to add to
the squad more than we did last season but from what they are all saying, only
free agents have really been available till 1st July (is only 6th today) and
that all players, managers and agents are only just returning from holidays,
and I expect Prem teams to do a lot of their business after the WC has ended
and that will release some Prem players for us and others to try and snap up.

I don find it strange that when managers and players all say how important pre
season is that everyone does not try and get their transfers sorted at the
start \ during pre-season rather than wait until the season is underway and the
window is about to shut !

Am I the only one getting apprehensive about our lack of transfer activity?
What happened to the 2-3 guys who were about to sign? There is a dearth of
Centre Halves & Strikers. On fact some bloody silly sums being payed.
