The author shares how behavioral vision care led to the recovery of many skills, allowing her to function better and prosper after medical doctors gave her little hope for a normal life. The message to survivors, their families and health care practitioners is “Never, ever give up!” Cost: $39.95 VIDEO: Remember Me: Living with ABI Remember Me looks at impressions of living with traumatically acquired brain injury. It deals with life as people adjust to their disability on a day to day basis, years down the track. The video aims to improve service providers’ understanding of the particular needs of people with ABI, and is a tool for community education about this often misunderstood disability.
