The ACT Trades and Labour Council is organising a demonstration and concert
outside the Indonesian embassy, Darwin Place, Yarralumla, on Sunday 12
September @ 12pm.
All proceeds go to the ACTU aid agency (Apheda).
Please bring candles, flowers, and old shoes (and a foldup chair to sit on).
Various artists will perform Rock, Folk and Country music. The microphone is
open if you want to perform.
There will be food stalls, BBQ, Light refreshments (as a sign of respect
this is an alcohol free event).
If you can't make it then (even if you can) the ACTTLC/Amnesty International
picket runs 24 hours a day, please pop in and show your support whenever you
can.
If you're in Canberra please pass this on to your workmates, members,
delegates etc.
