Walden is Executive Director of Focus on the Global South, a research insititute based in Bangkok, Thailand, and Chairman of the Board of Greenpeace in South-east Asia.=20 Walden addresses the issue of legitimacy of organisations such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the World Trade Organisation and questions the ability to "reform" such instititutions.
