S11 BLOCKADERS BBQ

On Friday 13th at 6PM, S11 Blockaders are holding a BBQ on Williamstowns
beach, outside the Williamstown Lifesaving Club. Inside the Lifesaving Club
at this time will be Steve Bracks and other assorted ALP government hacks
celebrating the ALP's first year in government.

So come to the BBQ, celebrate the success of s11,to thank the S11
protesters and their families and show Steve Bracks that we are going to
haunt him over his ordering and endorsement of police violence at s11 until
he is hounded out of office.

Also what better way to relax after s11 with other protesters than the
great Australian tradition of the barbie on the beach. The cops have
cancelled their's but the blockaders barbie will sizzle. Some food will be
on sale to raise funds for medical and legal costs of s11
protesters.(vegetarians catered for) BYO food and barbie if you want to.
Bring instruments, firesticks etc. There will be live music and special guests.

Where : Williamstown Beach near the Life saving Club. Cnr of Victoria
St/Esplanade. Near W'stown Beach Railway Station on the Williamstown Line.

When : Friday October 13th at 6pm

FUNDRAISING FILM NIGHT

On October 15th the S11 Social Club and presents a fundraising showing of
the moving "Saving Grace" at 7PM at Cinema Nova.

All proceeds are to go to legal and medical costs that people have got as a
result of s11. Two people at least have already received bills for
ambulance costs of approximately $600 each and other people have medical
costs above and beyond what medicare covers. Lets show the cops and the
government that solidarity doesn't finish on the picket line, and their
efforts to isolate us through violence haven't worked.

The movie is a comedy about a grandmother who grows dope to pay off her
inherited debts. So come along and help these people out and enjoy a flick
at the same time.

It would be great if people could pre-book so we can tell the cinema
numbers. Please call for bookings on 9527 9054. Thanks
