The combined Liberal Clubs of Monash and Deakin Unis are holding a
special end of year dinner next Wed 30 October and their guest of honour
is none other than the camp commandant himself, Phillip Ruddock.

The Refugee Action Collective meeting last night decided to hold a
protest outside the venue and the details are as follows:

Picket Ruddock!
6.00pm
Wednesday 30 October
outside the 'Lincoln of Toorak'
Trak Centre (old cinema)
445 Toorak Rd
Toorak ... just down from Chapel St, across Williams Rd
To get there by train, lots of trains go to South Yarra station in
Toorak Rd: from there it is a short walk.

* Please forward this email far and wide, to anyone who might want to
come and tell Ruddock personally what they think of his concentration
camps and 'temporary protection visas'
* Please bring banners, placards, noisemakers etc
* Please come to the regular Refugee Action Collective meeting next Tues
6pm upstairs at Trades Hall to help with planning last minute details
* Leaflets should be available for this by Thurs/Fri this week in the
New International Bookshop at Trades Hall, or come to the RAC stall in
the Bourke St Mall this Friday between 4 & 6 to pick some up.
