Carmen Lawrence, federal Labor MP and candidate for ALP president, will
be speaking in Melbourne on Thursday, November 6, at a public meeting
organised by the Socialist Alliance:
"Howard's End and alternatives from the Left"
Other speakers include David Glanz, Socialist Alliance candidate for the
seat of Wills, a Greens representative, and a prominent unionist.
The meeting begins at 7.30pm at Trades Hall, corner of Lygon and
Victoria sts, Carlton. Entry is by a recommended donation of $5 (for waged).
