I'm in the process of finding out who the owner is. There is no way for members to know the owner of the group. Only Google employees can see the owner. There is a link in our group page to "Send an Email to list owner" but I have used that with no success.
Art did start the Yahoo "Legacy Ornamental Group", and has passed on the moderation and ownership to myself.
