Hello Norm and welcome to the group. What you are wanting to do is
totally do-able. I know because that is what I have been doing for the
past 17 plus years since my AF retirement.

Hello to all. I recently joined the group because I own a 900 mill. I
have had the mill for 5 years and never really used it much; not due
to disinterest but mostly time. I believe the machine is fantastic. I
purchased the mill with most of the accessories and I just added the
horizontal vise, rotary table and bits from Magante.
I have read nearly every post on this forum and I am very excited to
start using some of the knowledge I have gained by reading your posts.
I hope to incorporate some of the neat upgrades you guys have made
into my machine. I am also interested in some of TKs products if he
still has some.
I am a technical trainer for an automotive parts manufacturer. I am on
the road about 140 days a year. I have been a woodworker for about 20
years now. My workshop is the basement in my home. I am looking to
ramp up my woodworking capability so when I do retire in 9 years I
will still have an income to support my many hobbies. My goal is to
manufacturer custom products that no one has in my area. I know
several contractors that build high end homes and they are always
looking for something custom for their clients. I would enjoy hearing
from those of you who have input on this idea.
