yes it is my carbide tip insert cutter it has 3 small tips instead of the 
larger flat surface of a legacy planing bit which makes it better for light I 
repeat light cuts in only soft metals like aluminum  its not too bad on the 
wood too which is what the cutter id made for.

  Are you using carbide router bits to cut this? or are you using end mill bit?
  I've been told that the carbide made for wood is not the same carbide used 
for end mills and other tool steel (cutting equipment.).

  Good job on this projects of yours. Just be careful, nether the Legacy or 
most router bits are up to metal cutting standards,Safety first.

    I neede a slid for my saw bench so i made one from aluminium I planed it on 
the legacy and cut it to lenth on the saw bench with a metal blade

    but just to show it milled ok on the 900 slowest speed on the router and 
cuts no bigger than 0.020"
