This group appears.like minded. I have been checking on linear bearing approach. I have mounted a cordless drill (18v) on the acme drive shaft with good success for temporary power but looking for the long haul. It was obvious the EVOLUTION is using linear bearings. I have them on a gun stock duplicator and can see their advantage. Please share your info as you can. Apparently more than I am interested. Thanks fir the response.
