Mac,
I did not post the stock images because they have no value. The Legacy
redesign, as I'm sure Roger will verify, went to a monorail system. I have
never seen it in person, but I think this is it.

The software is only worth a few hundred. Mach 3 is about $200,
Conversational Cam $400, and Art Cam Express 150. The computer is
important only because Mach is probably loaded onto it without the original.

Legacy would know who owned the machine.

I think you are right about storage wars. This is sad. But unless you are
a legacy owner, you would probably hesitate to purchase this machine at the
high price. Most people would opt to buy a new shopbot or mastercam for
less. For the most part, a Legacy Artisan 72 is really for someone who
turns rather than specializes in sheet goods. And then the turnings would
be bedposts and tall lamps--items that need a taper in. Or half columns.

One of the challenges with Legacy machines in this era is that people are
less into turned legs and into arts and craft stye. This hurts both the
sale of manual and cnc legacy machines.

As for run time, I would not worry about that with cnc machines. Replacing
motors and spindles are relatively cheap and easy to do. The bigger
problem with the Artisan I series is the rack and pinion system used is
noisy.
